    This club is open to anyone in Trilogy who loves singing, playing, and sharing songs. The focus is on folk, blues, country, classic rock, Americana, or most anything that can be shared. This is a casual setting for both beginners and experienced willing to participate. Acoustic or electric instruments are welcomed.

    This club helps create a brighter future for animals in need. Our mission is to provide second chances to dogs and cats in need of food donations, fostering and adoption, to the Denver area. Our services are provided to these animals by connecting with Angels to the Animals a Denver animal service program.

    Be part of one of our most exciting clubs for those who love to have fun! You don’t have to be Italian – you just have to love Italian food, music, history, art, and culture! We have monthly meetings, followed by a Wine Mixer.  At each meeting, we will have a special activity or event. We also have movie nights!

    We are a group of Members who love to look at the night sky.  If you enjoy looking at the night sky as well, you are invited to join us.  We are open to Members who have all levels of knowledge–from beginners who would like to learn more about astronomy to amateur astronomers who have many years of knowledge.  It doesn’t matter if you have a telescope or binoculars, all that matters is a love of the universe.

    Canasta is a fun game for all – you can learn it in just one session.  We also play Hand And Foot, which is a more challenging game derived from Canasta.  Ladies and Gentlemen are welcome!  Beginners welcome.  A great time for everyone!

    The Chess Club meets regularly to play chess and to help members and newcomers learn. We play chess weekly in person. Our activities are designed to appeal to all levels from beginners to advanced players.

    We offer various experiences designed to appeal to all types of players.

    The Club Advisory Group (CAG) was formed in 2018 to communicate with Members of our community about all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Twin Mills Club. The Club wants Members to have many avenues for feedback and interaction about the Club. As our community continues to grow, we recognize the importance of communicating and recommunicating, and that the best type of communication is a variety of communication.

    The CAG acts as an additional, 2-way conduit for Members’ questions, comments, and recommendations on Club Operations including: General Club items, Fitness, Member Activities and Events, Restaurants, Courts, Member Clubs, and Recreation. The CAG will not be discussing subjects related to the HOA, Shea Homes, the Welcome Center Gate, or other items that are unrelated to Club’s oversight. It is important to note that the Club building, design, layout, equipment and other structural components are under control of Club ownership and are largely set to stay consistent with the original design and vision for the Club. The Club Management is the only party that has the authority to change programming at the Club based on Member feedback.

    Welcome, Beer Lovers! Join us as we explore North Carolina’s awesome and inventive craft beer scene. There are countless ale houses, beer halls, and brew pubs around the Carolinas, and more than 30 breweries. We will visit these venues, sample some of their beers, and do so in a way that respects the beverage, the craft, and each other. Anyone interested in tasting and learning about craft brews, and doing so in moderation, is invited to join. If you love craft beer, good people, and great community, come join in the exploration. There is something special about joining with like-minded lovers of the brew! Come see for yourself!

    The goal of the Dinner Club is to meet our Trilogy neighbors in small groups. This is an easy way for us to get to know each other. You can participate just once, or every time we meet; it’s totally up to your schedule. We have 6-8 people per event, and each couple/person is responsible for his/her/their own dinner bill. We meet at restaurants within 15-20 miles of Trilogy, and the restaurants can be very simple (ie Subway) or as upscale as Chillfire Bar & Grill. Each date is a separate event, so there’s no long term commitment. If you RSVP by the required date for each event, you’ll be contacted by your group leader with information on where and when we’ll be having dinner. We hope you can join us!

    Double deck pinochle is a card game that’s played with two standard pinochle decks, removing the 9s to create an 80-card deck. It’s a partner game where players are split into two teams of two, and the goal is to be the first team to reach 500 points. Players earn points by taking tricks and melding

  • more_vertDuplicate Bridge

    Duplicate Bridge is the most widely used variation of contract bridge in club and tournament play. It is called duplicate because the same bridge deal (i.e. the specific arrangement of the 52 cards into the four hands) is played at each table, and scoring is based on relative performance. In this way, every hand, whether strong or weak, is played in competition with others playing identical cards, and the element of skill is heightened while that of chance is reduced.

    All players including beginners are invited to come play. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays and 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month, from 6-8PM in the Killian & Forney Room at the Club.

    Have an interest in fishing?  The Fishing Club fishes locally for trout, and also enjoys occasional sports/deep sea fishing trips to the Florida Keys and Belize!

    Glass fusing is the process of joining compatible sheet glasses together in a kiln until the glass fuses at approximately 1490 degrees Fahrenheit.

    The Garden Club of Twin Mills is for anyone who loves gardening and gardens. You don’t have to be a master or experienced gardener to take part, you just have to love gardens, plants, outdoors, flowers, and nature! And of course, you must enjoy having fun, learning new things, and being with old and new friends who enjoy your same interests. Our mission is to provide a way for gardening enthusiasts to collaborate, learn about plants and growing techniques, and share resources. Activities include bringing in speakers on topics related to gardening in North Carolina, and visiting local nurseries and botanical gardens.

    Welcome to the German Stammtisch at Trilogy Lake Norman — a relaxed monthly gathering for everyone who shares a connection to Germany.

    Whether you are German, have lived in Germany, speak German, have family roots there, or simply love the culture, this group is a place to meet others who share that experience.

    A Stammtisch is a long-standing German tradition: friends and community members gathering regularly at the same place and time to talk, laugh, and enjoy good company. Our Stammtisch brings that spirit to Trilogy Lake Norman.

    At each gathering, we’ll connect over conversations about life in Germany, travel experiences, language, culture, food, and shared memories. Some people come to practice their German, others to reconnect with their roots, and many simply enjoy meeting new friends with similar backgrounds.

    Everyone is welcome — whether you’re fluent in German, learning the language, or just curious about the culture.

    Going Solo is an inclusive club that is open to all Trilogy Lake Norman Members. It is a Member-led group that welcomes all – female, male, single, partnered, and married. The “open-to-all” concept recognizes that many Trilogy Members are single, but there are also many who are here alone while a spouse or partner is still working in another state. There are numerous other reasons you might find yourself “solo,” including having a mate who does not have your same schedule or interests. Whatever the reason, come join your fellow Trilogy Lake Norman Members on outings, adventures, and activities. Make new friends and find like-minded people who enjoy your same interests.

    Grief is Grief Support Group is for those feeling lonely or disconnected. We provide education, community, and support around all types of grief and loss.  Some of us have loss of a spouse, child/children, pets, friends, or parents. Divorce and addiction in our family also causes us to feel grief and loss.

    Whether we’re walking the community trails or hiking the Appalachian Trail, we’ll enjoy the outdoors, good company, and great exercise! Our mission statement is to hike safely and responsibly for enjoyment, fellowship, and health benefits. We also meet to share pictures of prior hikes, share details about future hikes, and get input from members about where they want to hike.

    We are also a service-oriented club. Within our Trilogy community, we support those in need through acts of kindness such as providing meals, transportation, and respite care. Beyond Trilogy, we extend our hearts and hands by supporting charitable projects with our time and resources.

    We invite you to join us at one of our monthly gatherings or quarterly luncheons and become part of a community rooted in faith, compassion, and friendship.

  • more_vertMah Jongg Club

    Mah Jongg is a friendly, fascinating, rummy-like game played with tiles rather than cards. The game originated in China. It uses a card of standard hands, against which all games are played.

    The game can be played with 3 or 4 people at a table. There is a Mahjongg set per table, and each player needs his/her own card to play the game.

    Daytime Play: Every Tuesday at 1:30pm at the Balsam Model in the Model Home Gallery. No RSVP required, just come out for the fun.

    Night Time Play: Every Wednesday Night at 7:00pm, meeting in Club Members’ homes. RSVP is required for these events.

    All levels of Mah Jongg players are welcome, as well as anyone who would like to learn!

    We meet every Tuesday from 7:30am to 9:00am AT SILVER GRILL DINER (located at 1476 N16 BUSINESS, Denver, NC 28037).

    Come out and enjoy good company and good conversation. Meet your Trilogy Neighbors and discuss anything and everything that might be of interest. It’s a great way to get to know other guys in the neighborhood, and have some fun interaction. Just show up – no RSVP necessary.

    Mexican Train Dominoes is an easy, fun, fast paced game. We will sit at tables of six and play weekly. Grab your beverage at the main bar to enjoy during the game. There are many variations of Mexican Train Dominoes, so we will establish “Trilogy Train Rules.” These may vary a bit from the way you have played before, but it will be fun and fast paced.

    The Nubian Experience Club’s purpose is to foster and promote an appreciation of the history, culture, and contributions of people of African descent across the African diaspora, and to build bridges between the African American community and America’s other diverse cultures.

  • more_vertPaired Duplicate Bridge

    This is a standard duplicate bridge game with pre-set boards. It differs from the Monday Duplicate Bridge group in that we have the continuing same player couples rather than drawing for different partners each time as they do in the Monday bridge game. Most of our group also plays weekly on Mondays. This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, in the Outfitter room next to the Foundry.

    We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in Clark’s Kitchen.

    Looking for a creative way to have fun, learn something new, and capture life’s moments? No experience needed – just curiosity and love for great photos.

    The purpose of this Club is to share the love of pickleball with both new and experienced players. Everyone is welcome to join this easy to learn and social activity.

    Pinochle is a trick-taking, Ace-Ten card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. It is derived from the card game Bezique; players score points by trick-taking and also by forming combinations of cards into melds.

    The Pottery Club is a group of amateur artisans that gathers on occasion to enjoy working with clay. Membership is voluntary and has no restrictions or application for acceptance. Our mission is to have fun and enjoy our art in an open and welcoming community space where everyone is welcome.

    The Quilting Club will meet to sew, socialize, and be inspired. Quilters of all levels are welcome. Bring your own project to work on, or for show and tell. Be inspired by the diverse projects of your fellow quilters.

    Meetings will be held in the Twin Mills Club.

    Real Time Trivia, with your hosts Rob & Rob, brings trivia night to the Event Center once every 2-3 months. We play 3 rounds of hand curated, custom made questions. Players pre-select their teams of 8 players. Prizes for the winner of each round, prizes for the ‘not winner’ of each round, plus an honorable mention prize. Entertaining and fun, we are pleased to share our love of trivia with the Trilogy community.

    The Road Kings Motorcycle Club at Twin Mills is a group of individuals who enjoy motorcycle riding and are looking for others to ride with. Sometimes we announce scheduled group rides, but mostly we use text messaging to contact the group to see who wants to go.  Any club member can arrange a ride and announce it. Typically, a “ride” will consist of a meeting time and place (usually at the Twin Mills Club), a destination, and/or a duration.

    The ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) Group meets at the Sunrise Cafe at 169 Cross Center Rd in Denver on Wednesdays at 8:00am. One lucky winner of a drawing will receive a complimentary breakfast!

    Siamese Mahjong is a fast paced variation of American Mahjong where each player plays two hands simultaneously which creates a more challenging game. The basic rules are the similar to those of the National Mahjong League, but with a few exceptions.

    We play every Monday in Clarks Family Kitchen. On the 4th Monday we play in the Killian & Forney Card Room. There could be times that our game will be moved to The Foundry Restaurant or The Quad.

    Bridge is one of the most popular card games in the world today! This club is a great way to meet your neighbors!

  • more_vertSporting Clay Shooting Club

    The club promotes shotgun sport shooting at all skill levels; skeet, trap, 5-stand, etc. The club meets monthly at an area facility, usually followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant. Besides shotgun shooting, the club promotes positive resident interaction.

    The club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00am at the Foothills Shooting Facility in Cleveland County, NC. Members are encouraged to visit the location prior and complete the video training and waiver form. This club is shotgun shooting only, no handguns or rifles. All skill levels are welcomed. Kelly Dickson of Sporting Clay Experiences in Mooresville, NC is available for lessons, etc. Kelly is opening her facility, Hidden Brook, in North Wilkesboro, NC, in May 2025.

    Super Senior Games are hosted in Clark’s Family Kitchen and no gaming experience is necessary. Please join us for fun and socializing. We love to play “Name That Tune,” and we host a movie and lunch once a month.

    Trilogy Habitat Building Team works with Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region monthly.

    Our volunteer days can be filled with jobs that include framing, installing windows & doors, hanging drywall, installing trim, painting and much more. No experience necessary, the Habitat model relies on volunteers, not experts, they teach us everything we need to know. They also provide all the tools and materials we need for each project.

    Nurses share a common bond in promoting health, caring for the ill, disabled and dying while striving for human dignity.

    Our quarterly social gatherings are organized by club member volunteers designed to promote camaraderie through shared knowledge and experiences with food, fun and laughter.

    The Veterans Club at Trilogy Lake Norman is a social organization open to all veterans (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard and Merchant Marine) living here in the community.

    The Club is a monthly forum for veterans to meet and share their experiences. In addition, the club can provide information pertinent to veterans benefits and general information on discounts available to veterans at area businesses.

    The Veterans Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2:00pm in Clark’s Family Kitchen.

    This club allows us to make new friends who enjoy local wineries, and offers you a chance to share your North Carolina winery experiences. Did you know there are over 200 wineries and over 400 vineyards in North Carolina? The difference between them is that a vineyard is a location that grows the grapes, while a winery is the location that produces the wine.

    Join your neighbors in the indoor pool for a fun game of water volleyball!

    We play 2 sessions every Monday and Thursday, the first from 5:15pm to 6:30pm and the second from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. The 5:15pm session is great for beginners, with helpful hints and clarification on rules provided as needed.

    Watercolor Artist-Instructor and Trilogy Member Deborah Ponder creates classes that are engaging and rewarding for beginners, as well as those who may have some background in art. She has an enthusiastic, informal teaching style and is known for her ability to present complex concepts in clear accessible terms. She demonstrates watercolor skills and techniques, provides easy-to-follow directions, and offers positive, supportive, one-on-one coaching to help you connect with your personal creativity and build artistic self-confidence.

    Yarn Zen will meet every Tuesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Killian & Forney Card Room – come whenever you can! This group is not a class – you’ll need your own supplies and you’ll work on your own projects. It will be a great way to share tips and tricks with each other, and those more seasoned to help beginners get going. Most of all, we can get to know fellow “fiber artists” and share project ideas.

    If you do needlepoint or other needle crafts, please feel free to join us!
