  • more_vertGolf Club

We started in 2020 as a small group of six to ten players, including women. Our mission was to have fun, be very kind when commenting on bad shots, and keep spousal comments to a minimum. Our number of interested players has grown to 60+, so we must be fulfilling our mission.

Our basic schedule is every other Monday, and we try to schedule different courses around Vegas. The most current schedule will be posted under “Discussions” on our club page on MTL.

With a commitment of at least 16 players, we have been able to secure tee times in advance, so it’s important to fill our commitment of four tee times. Golf courses remember and “rate” groups, so be sure to say nice things about the course, spend money in the pro shop, and eat and drink like there is no tomorrow.

The per person cost of a round of golf ranges from $40 to $85, with most rounds costing $50-70, which is more than reasonable, considering the courses we play.

Outlook Club hosts Hand and Foot every other Wednesday, in the Hangar from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Location and schedule are subject to change from Club Manager and approved staff.

  • more_vertRummikub Club

Rummikub is a tile-based game for two to four players, combining elements of the card games Rummy and Mahjong. Players have 14 or 16 tiles initially, and take turns putting down tiles from their racks into sets (groups or runs) of at least three, drawing a tile if they cannot play. Rummikub’s main component is a pool of tiles, consisting of 104 number tiles and two joker tiles. The number tiles range in value from one to thirteen in four colors (blue, red, orange, and black). Each combination of color and number is represented twice. Players each have a rack to store tiles without revealing the face of the tiles to the other players.

If you’re interested in learning this game, please join us in Amelia’s Kitchen or The Hangar every 2nd Monday of the Month from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Make sure to register so we can plan accordingly.
